Coming back to the trumpet
As you might expect, we sell most of our trumpets to school age students, but a good number of our customers are returning players. Many played through High School or College and then dropped out. We hear from players who have retired and finally have the time to put trumpet playing back in their lives. It's not easy to get back to playing after a few decades away, but it's great to hear the passion and enthusiasm that returning players express for trumpet playing.
One reason players stop playing once out of school, is that they no longer have a band in which to play. Community Bands are a great way to keep involved. Check out this directory of Community Bands. Often local school adult education programs will sponsor Community Bands as well.
