A Full Set of Features

Slides: The Haydn student trumpet features a 3rd slide waterkey and intonation aids like a 1st slide thumb saddle (not included on most inexpensive trumpets). As a player progresses, these features will become a requirement. All slides have nickel-silver interiors with brass exteriors. The use of two different metals on the slides prevents corrosion that occurs with standard brass-on-brass slides.

Leadpipe: Crafted from rose brass which offers better corrosion resistance than standard brass due to its higher copper content. Leadpipe bore: .459 inches.

Piston Valves: Made of industry-leading Monel, a nickel-copper alloy that resists corrosion and ensures the longest possible life.

Finish: Silver plate, not just for its good looks, but because it wears better than a standard brass lacquer finish.

Mouthpiece: Included with the trumpet is a silver plated Vincent Bach 7c Mouthpiece, the one most band directors recommend.

Our Case is Better!

Many student trumpets come in plastic cases. They're lightweight and compact, but what happens when you drop them? They crack. What about the old-style wood cases? They're durable and provide excellent protection to the trumpet. But they're heavy and bulky.
